The U.S. Dream Academy is extending a special invitation for your child(ren) ages 9 to 17 years old, to receive a  Virtual Mentor. Since this is virtual mentoring, you and your child can live anywhere in the United States and still participate in our virtual mentoring program.



Children with mentors are more likely to:

  •   Attend college
  •   Have a better attitude towards school
  •   Have increased social and emotional development
  •   Have improved self esteem

  • What is the DreamJourney Virtual Mentoring?

    U.S. Dream Academy provides a transformative mentoring experience for youth to build character, skills and dreams for their future.

  • Who are the mentors?

    Our mentors include college/university students, retired seniors, and working professionals.

  • Are mentors background checked?

    Yes! Each volunteer mentor undergoes  screening that includes a criminal background check, interview, reference checks and training before they are matched with a young person.


    However, it is still important that the parent and/or caretaker help in monitoring the  mentor/mentee relationship along with U.S. Dream Academy staff. 


  • How often do sessions occur?

    Young people and mentors meet virtually in a safe online space  once a week for about an hour. 


    After you fully register your child/ren we will provide you access to our secure, online mentoring platform we call DreamCloud. 

  • Are the sessions safe?

    Yes! Additionally, all sessions are monitored and recorded for the safety of our young people and volunteers and take place on our secure mentoring platform, DreamCloud.


    As with any adult-child relationship, it is important for the parent and/or caretaker to be aware of when virtual mentoring sessions occur and provide supervision as necessary along with the U.S. Dream Academy staff.

  • How will the sessions benefit my child(ren)?

    Through mentoring, students are equipped with the tools and support they need to make their dreams a reality.
