Igniting Dreams | 16th Annual Power of a Dream Gala



The U.S. Dream Academy’s Gala is a black-tie fundraising and awareness dinner to benefit children who have a parent incarcerated and children who are falling behind in school.

Since 2001, the annual Power of a Dream Gala has raised more than $11 million to provide after school and mentoring programs to children in high-risk neighborhoods.  Each year, our team of dedicated volunteers helps to make or exceed goals and expectations, making the Power of a Dream Gala one of the signature black-tie events in Washington, DC.  Approximately 500 guests attend the Gala each year.
